Abstract
Daemen College students involved in service learning at Frank A. Sedita school were able to work in two bilingual classrooms with children from diverse backgrounds. Students were able to apply their knowledge of the Spanish language in order to communicate with and assist the children of Frank A. Sedita. They were able to assist with teaching of course material, as well as help children adjust to Western New York culture. Daemen students will discuss their service learning experience and describe language skills improvements and plans for continued work with the school.
