Abstract

This poster will detail behavioral observations of the Amur tiger (Panthera tigris altaica) at the Buffalo Zoo. Tigers are solitary animals in the wild, where they maintain large home ranges. This study compares captive behaviors in a confined space of the Buffalo Zoo tiger exhibit to those documented for wild individuals.
